I'm Abby Rampone. I write about community, theology, and feminism.
And sometimes dumpster diving.
And sometimes dumpster diving.
I am a Chicago-based writer and ministry professional. My writing has appeared in U.S. Catholic and elsewhere. I write on themes such as liberation theology, feminism and religion, interfaith/interreligious engagement, pilgrimage, the Catholic Worker movement, church reform, and intentional community. I have lived in four communities, including two Catholic Worker houses.
I earned a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in 2020 and a Bachelor's in Comparative Literature from Williams College in 2017. I have worked in campus ministry at DePaul University and Columbia University, and I have earned two units of CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education). I worked for the progressive Catholic reform group Call To Action and served on the board of Women's Ordination Conference. I am an experienced public speaker, facilitator, and officiant.
I’m open to pitches, commissions, and proposals for collaboration. Please contact me at abigailrampone (at) gmail (dot) com.
